Niche Marketing on Crack
If you’re looking for guidance on creating money-making blogs that are tightly focused around a niche, sub niche or even micro niche, I highly recommend Andrew Hansen’s Niche Marketing on Crack (a.k.a. NMOC) ebook … read on for my review of NMOC.
I had intended to write this review for a while, but I just dragged my feet for the past couple of months since I posted my opinion about NMOC at the DigitalPoint.com forum.
On July 4, 2007, I received a private message from a DigitalPoint.com forum member asking me about the rebate I’m offering to anyone who purchases NMOC through my affiliate link.
To be totally honest, I had totally forgotten about that post I made. I had to dig through the history of green reputation I received from folks who appreciated that post of mine and read through what I wrote.
So, here we are, and I’m going to cover 2 points in this post:
- My Niche Marketing on Crack review. I’ll also link up to forum discussions on this product that will hopefully assist you in your decision on whether to go ahead and purchase the ebook or not.
- Related products that either complement NMOC, or that you should stay away from
- My $10 money back offer to anybody who buys NMOC through my affiliate link.
(Big THANKS! goes out to LindonJ who bought NMOC through my affiliate link - the $10 has been sent to your PayPal account on the 28th of November, 2007)
My Niche Marketing on Crack Review
Overall rating
5/5 - Yes … it is THAT good. I’ve bought tons of ebooks since I quit my day job in mid-2005, and I can safely say that none of them comes close to NMOC in terms of describing what you need to do in order to create White Hat, money making content sites, and how you should go about promoting them.
Who is NMOC suitable for?
Beginning and Intermediate internet marketers who embrace the production of free content as a means to securing online income.
Main selling points
NMOC explains how to get top results in Google using valid techniques that Google won’t frown upon. And Andrew’s techniques ensure that you’ll get indexed quickly, sometimes in a matter of a week or two, without having to use any kind of spamming or cloaking technique. You don’t even have to have an existing site to link from.
Next, and this is gold - how to find and sell products that have little competition, and how you’re able to earn commissions even if there is only a trickle of traffic to your sites. The advice given here is fabulous. I have used this method with a guitar course before, even before I heard about NMOC, and I can tell you that it does work. You do have to watch out for a few factors that increase your chances of success, but Andrew explains these factors clearly.
Likes
Andrew is a master at presenting information in an easy-to-read and digestible format. His style is one of a teacher, leading you step-by-step through the NMOC blueprint in great detail. There’s no hype, no fluff, no arrogance, and he certainly doesn’t make you think that this method requires no hard work.
Dislikes
If you are not a Wordpress power user, you will be left wondering how to optimize and tune the Wordpress settings in accordance with Andrew’s suggestions. To be fair, Andrew never claimed that NMOC is a Wordpress tutorial.
Also, Andrew doesn’t reveal which niches or merchants are good for this method although he does teach you how to hunt for them.
Other thoughts
I maintain contact with another internet marketer who purchased NMOC, and he reported success with it too.
Using the NMOC formula, he found two products on Shareasale.com, and put up two Wordpress sites on different domains, and promoted them using articles posted to Ezinearticles.com.
A month after that saw him earning monthly commissions of approximately USD60 - excellent!
Related products
You might be considering other products instead of, or in addition to NMOC … I offer my thoughts on one of them here.
Rob Benwell’s Blogging to the Bank 2.0
Don’t Buy BTTB2 - it talks about creating White Hat blogs too, but offers no concrete blueprint or steps which you can implement profitably. What Rob basically says in his ebook is, do your keyword research, and create white hat blogs to try selling Clickbank products into those keywords. The rest of the ebook is all fluff, and the entire product is nowhere near Version 1.0 in terms of quality.

David I think your spot here is a real ‘find’. I’m shocked an somewhat amazed by your honesty…it suggests some degree of integrity…
As well as expressing your entitled opinion, you make it very clear what’s in it for you as a way of fair exchange…after all…’fair exchange is no robbery…’ good job

NMOC is mainly talks about article marketing. NMOC recommends EzineArticles, ArticleDashboard and GoArticles as NMOC strategies. Article marketing is main of NMOC promotion techniques. This is good way to grab top ranking of Google for low competition keywords.
To add to Imanuel’s comments, NMOC also teaches you how to hunt for niches / products which have little competition.
In other words, it doesn’t regurgitate the usual Clickbank / Commission Junction / Linkshare mantra - and that, in my opinion, is the best part about the book.
Andrew’s NMOC is helpful, especially for beginners. I also like the fact that he doesn’t hesitate to give out tips and URLs and a lot more. Very good product.
Here’s to more orders of NMOC coursed through you
